Susan Boyle Sings Memory on Britain’s Got Talent 2009 Semi-finals last night Sunday May 24. This is the second song from Internet Youtube sensation Susan Boyle on the UK reality TV show Britain’s Got Talent. The song “Memory” is from the musical Cats. Boyle then won the round via public vote, which means she will be performing in the Britain’s Got Talent 2009 Finals of the show this Saturday.
Without the element of surprise and a bit of what can only be considered nerves-induced wobbling at the beginning, Boyle’s performance of Memory, from Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Cats, isn’t quite the showstopper that I Dreamed a Dream was. But her voice is still a standout, her eyebrows have been tamed and her dress is very pretty.
But hold on, base from Adam Lambert on American Idol 2009 Season 8 final, huge internet buzz or audience impact doesn’t always mean you will be the contest’s eventual winner. We”ll just wait and see if Britain’s Got Talent will follow.
